1.1 Choco Story Brussels, whose registered office is located at Rue de l'Étuve 41, 1000 Brussels, registered with the BCE under number 0552 921 873 (hereinafter “Choco Story Brussels”), operates a website via www.choco-story-brussels.be (hereinafter the “Website”).
1.2 All personal data we collect (hereinafter “Data”) will be processed in accordance with applicable Belgian and European data protection regulations, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (General Data Protection Regulation – “GDPR”), Directive 2002/58/EC as amended by Directive 2009/136/EC, and the Belgian Law of 13 June 2005 on electronic communications, as amended by the Law of 10 July 2012.
1.3 You are invited to carefully read this Privacy Policy (hereinafter the “Policy”) and to take note of its contents.

2.2 The Policy applies to all services offered by Choco Story Brussels through the Website.

3.1.1 Data provided by users. We collect Data that you submit via the Website in order to allow Choco Story Brussels and its Partners to validate a booking for a museum visit.
3.1.2 Information gathered through technological tools. When you browse our Website, our systems may passively collect data such as your IP address or browser type. We also use cookies to collect information on the date and time of your visit and the areas of the Website you browsed.
3.2 By visiting our Website or providing your Data, you consent to the collection and processing of your Data as described in this Policy. If you do not consent to or cannot authorize such processing, please do not use the Website.

ARTICLE 4 – PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING

4.1 The Data we collect is used to manage and follow up on your museum visit booking. It also helps us improve our services by informing us about your interests, preferences, and usage patterns.
4.2 We may use collected Data, ourselves or through other channels, for promotional, commercial, or informational purposes. This may include newsletters or electronic communications, unless you opt out.
4.3 We may also use this Data for research aimed at improving our services.
4.4 We may disclose your Data if necessary to (a) comply with legal obligations or court orders, or (b) protect our rights or those of Website users.
4.5 We may share your Data with direct marketing partners if you opt in to receive promotional content. These partners are required to respect this Policy and may only use your Data to provide services/products expressly requested by Choco Story Brussels.

6.1 In accordance with GDPR articles 15–18, you have the right to access, correct, delete, and restrict the processing of your Data.

6.3 We may ask you to confirm your identity before responding to your request.

ARTICLE 7 – RIGHT TO DATA PORTABILITY

7.1 You have the right to receive the Data you provided to Choco Story Brussels in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and to transmit it to another data controller where processing is carried out by automated means.
