- Workshop organization : With the help of our chocolatier, you’ll make chocolate tablets, mendiants, lollipops and some nice fantasy with chocolate. At the end, you ‘ll get back with your production and several tips !
- Duration of the workshop : It takes between 45 and 60 minutes.
- Material needed : Professional material is provided. At the end, each participant takes back the mold they used to make a tablet at home.
- Participants : This workshop is available for adults and children above 7 years. Children between 7 and 12 years must be accompanied by an adult with a ticket for the workshop.
- Workshop location: We have a professional workshop in our museum located at 41 Rue de l'Étuve in Brussels. We are close to the Grand-Place, the Manneken-Pis and the Mont des Arts.

1) Tablet Workshop (for children or adults)
Besides the visit of Choco-Story Brussels Museum, you will enjoy a fun workshop. With the advice of our chocolatier, you'll realize your own personalized chocolate tablet and other chocolate specialities to take home.
Practical informations :
- No specific qualifications required.
- This “tablet” workshop is only available on reservation.
- Groups of maximum 20 persons. Minimum age : 7 years.
- Duration of the activity : between 45 and 60 minutes for the workshop. Allow 1H30 to visit the museum (with an audio guide, tastings and the demonstration of fabrication of the artisanal pralines). The visit will be done after the workshop.
- Price : 35€ / person. Entrance to the museum included.

2) Praline Workshop (adults only)
Besides the visit of Choco-Story Brussels Museum, you will enjoy a fun and instructive workshop. Our chocolatier will deliver some recipes and secrets about the artisanal fabrication of the famous belgian pralines. With the support of the chocolatier, you'll realize your own artisanal pralines. You’ll be able to take around 500 gr chocolates back home.
Practical details :
- Workshops are only available on reservation for groups of minimum 6 and maximum 20 persons. This workshop is open to adults only.
- Duration of the activity : Allow 1H30 to visit the museum (with an audioguide, tastings and the demonstration of fabrication of the artisanal pralines). The visit will be done after the workshop. For the workshop, it will take about 3 additional hours.
- Price : 60€ / person. Entrance to the museum included.

A chocolate tablet making workshop in Brussels for your birthdays

During the visit of Choco-Story Brussels, you have the opportunity to discover the 5,000 year old history of cocoa and chocolate. Learn how cocoa is grown and how cocoa beans are made into chocolate. Watching a demonstration by a chocolate-maker and tasting his creations are also included in the tour.
In addition to the museum tour, everyone participates in a creative workshop. With the help of a chocolate-maker, prepare your own fruit and nut chocolates (mendiants), chocolate tablets, lollipops and other special chocolate sweets that you can take home with you later.

This activity has been organized so you can discover the surprising and savory combination of two typically Belgian specialties: beer and chocolate. You will have the opportunity to sample five Belgian beers with different types of chocolate (white, milk and dark chocolate and hand-made pralines).
Also included is a guided tour of the museum which will take you on a journey through the history of cocoa and chocolate where you can learn how cocoa is grown and how chocolate is made.
